Leisure Park, Fife
Responsible for masterplanning of this 30 acre site, Simon’s core roles on this
project ranged from gaining initial planning permission and co-ordination of
infrastructure contracts, to negotiating with anchor tenants and the subsequent
sale of freehold to an investment fund.
Duke’s Walk, Waterlooville Project managing this 120,000 sq ft town-centre retail scheme, Simon was responsible for obtaining planning permission, managing land assembly, appointing consultants and negotiating leasing terms and the eventual sale of the site.
AMP Asset Management, 55 Moorgate, London
Simon was part of the project management team for the construction
and fit-out of AMP’s London headquarters.
Pearl Assurance, District Office Refurbishment Project, UK-wide
Simon was involved in the management of a major renewal programme
of the client’s district offices, incorporating the refurbishment
of 147 offices in an 18-month period.
Warwick Technology Park, Warwick Acting as Project Manager for this £8.5m project, Simon was heavily involved in the initial development of several speculative office buildings. This project for Barwood Developments, was among the first to achieve a BREEAM rating of half of the current regulatory requirements.
1 Eleven Edmund St, Birmingham
Simon was instrumental in the re-development of Birmingham’s old
Ear Nose and Throat Hospital into purpose-built, fully fitted
offices for a major Midlands law firm. Retaining the old façade,
the 44,000 sq ft development saw Manly overcoming the usual issues
of operating in confined spaces and in a city centre, and saw
Simon closely involved in the speedy resolution of rights of
light and party wall issues with affected third parties.
North Kettering Business Park, Northants
Simon’s role as Project Manager on this £75m mixed use scheme saw
him dealing with major infrastructure works including closure of
the busy A14, demolition of an existing bridge and the remodelling
of trunk roads before the development itself could begin. The site
includes two major warehouses measuring 450,000 and 750,000 sq
ft and has planning consent for over 2.2million sq ft.
Watchmoor Point, Camberley Simon acted as Project Manager on this industrial scheme for Brixton Estate. The scheme included the three-phase development of a 100,000 sq ft industrial estate on the site of an old Fabergé warehouse.
Bellingham Leisure Centre, Lewisham, London
This charity funded development of new leisure facilities in Lewisham, South-East London, the development included the construction of a state of the art gymnastics facility, all-weather pitches, gymnasium dance studio and children’s soft play area.
